The origin of MONCROSS began more than 100 years ago at a small workroom by Johann Lanz.
Lanz family manufactured leather products for Swiss militia and mercenaries traveling one of the roughest grounds
and climates on the earth, Swiss ALPS mountain.
The stability and durability of Lanz leather products were assured without a question.
John Lanz, the grandson of Johann Lanz, inherited the workroom and continues the traditional hand-made method.
John is acknowledged as a master craftsman by Swiss government.
